reader's reponse :*CHEERS* CONFETTI * *WILD APPLAUSE*of course the guys did even better!
how do 3 men do nothing & yet stil look so professional during e performance?
reader's reponse :*BOO! BOOOOOO! JEERS*we should have gotten every girl's hp no. while we were @ it!
reader's reponse : *GASPS* PUKES* i mean
who can do such a meagre work of walkin aroun passin papers of lyrics with so much suave, conviction, manliness, mojo-lity? nobody does it better than e trio of Gabe, Cristos, SmellyMelvin!
reader's reponse : *GASPS* PUKES* didn't u notice we 3 kings were oozing with the rich aroma of BO in the rich humidity of the night n swooning all e ladies too with it? their heads turned man! but wonder y they actually fell out n rolled over e ground a few time when we got near. screams of hysteria b4 e head-dropping-off confirmed our insane attractiveness don't u tik?
haha... ok i'm talkin crap.
GABE THE COCK-TALKER!
Speaking of hysteria
let me talk 2 u abt e aftermath
HYSTERICS STARTED WITH A THUDwat's e songs vaness-birdnest was singing?
aptly the song had a portion desribing fallin down and
when i turned i didn't c her but heard a shrill
ouch tat hurt
=p
there she was on the mid platform of e stairs
lying laughin hysterically and half-cryin @ e same time
hilarious
we were all laughin n half-carryin her 2 e area in front of first cart of e train.
melvin wanted 2 take her red hysterical face but she turned away with hand covering.
Pat got smart n said she looked quite nice in that side face angle.
vanes volunteerily took her hand off (flattery apparently works)
then we all had another good laugh
on e train when we jus entered
Pat was fortunate tat she hung her robe on e .... erm... wat u call tat?
hand rest? pole? horizontal pole?
anyway
it's hung there n then OPPS her bra strap came off
guys covered her, kept her in the middle n lifted up her robe 2 condone one side 2 so she can re-adjust.
erh... wait a min... e above sentence didn't sound rite
ANYWAY
as it got more crowded vaness was stil high on.... i tik it's oxygen...
n was bumpin into ppl behind her lol
hahaha...
these bunch of kids really made my day.
wanted 2 force some professionalism onto e choir because as time worn on,
it became increasingly obvious tat e occasion was pretty high key relative 2 e post office.
in spite of that, i suddenly realised e wisdom of e "fast money" decision Jennifer made
no time nvm kinda thing
plus Phillis needed some urgent help.
she obviously jus needed someone 2 sing regardless of anything else.
Jen said ok
i didn't want them 2 go cos mainly
no practice, so last min
if we didn't perform well, e last min thing was not management's fault but ours
but when the
"no mics"
"no" this
"no" that started piling up
it became more reassuring
the management didn't prepare properly in e first place.
there's only so much we can do in that small amt of time.
outdoor performance was done best 2 their abilities already.
indoor was much better cos the space was small.
do what's needed n cover e kids when needed.
kids wil b kids.
i was talkin abt forgivin n embracin mistakes in order 2 improve e other day so i should really evaluate the TRUE meaning of forgivenes.
ppl should keep makin mistakes. if we're so easily afraid of makin mistakes, we'd not dare do anythin @ all. i rem always afraid of doin things cos my dad would whack n scold me. i was a really timid boy. but stil had a better social life than e quietest person in class.
i don't remember myself being so professional n bothered abt such standards of professionalism @ their age. it's how e seniors manage e kids.
@ e end of e day
i remember someone sayin we're a amateur volunteer group therefore we can't force professional n hard-fast rules onto e choir.
tikin abt it. it's sad but true.
the choir always a starting platform for the kids 2 rise up 2 in future in their careers.
jus 2 groom, nurture n watch em grow is very fascinating.
i'm grateful i'm in this Angelus thru its ups n downs.
i don't tik e dream of being a large group is attainable in my time there
but if i can b sponsor in future n continue 2 support their activities
whether thru providin $, logistics, contacts etc.
i'll b there 4 em.
we make e younger ones WANT 2 stay til they realise leadership skills.
then
pass the baton
then i'll b eternally gratified.
final note of wisdom:
b critical of oneself and not of others
