Penetrating my fears To Sell myself and thus succeed(writing all this 2 go thru my head wat i read n help my learning process)
Reading Robert T. Kiyosaki was really inspiring in terms of the eye-opener it brings. One must be able to sell in order to succeed.
This applies 2 all areas - business, love, yourself as a person 2 others, politics, selling talents, selling abilities, etc etc...
This ability 2 sell is tied specifically to fear of rejection.
Ppl are afraid 2 sell. Thus, are afraid of rejection. But it's the latter that's e overriding factor. It makes ppl feel hurt. Bruises the ego. Makes someone feel tat they've wasted their time talking 2 that person.
It's tat social failure that ppl tik abt tat's associated with selling.
But e best salesman, n most successful ppl in e world, r great sellers n hav e most failures n rejections.Because they never gave up n continue 2 make e mistakes required 2 succeed.

Since young, our education system have taught our teachers to teach us to study hard, get a job, n earn a living. AKA, degree = job security = life.
But they don't teach u how 2 take risks n get rich.
They want security. Some ppl r so stuck 2 this "work 8-5pm everyday for my whole life" that even if they need e money 2 bail em out, they'll jus work more hours instead of finding that badly needed money. They fear of e lack of job security, they fear lack of stability, they fear failure, they fear rejection, they fear to make misakes. They've grown accustomed to e system they've been brought up n taught in. They teach us 2 Study hard work hard n make as little mistakes as possible. U make a mistake, they punish u. They tell u, u deserve it, told u not 2 do tat. They teach u how 2 earn a living, they don't teach u how 2 make a profit n get rich.
Expanding one's network n selling urself is one of those ways 2 earn a profit.
Such comes risks n higher chance of making mistakes.
A lot of entrepreuners make mistakes n lost millions b4 gaining them back many folds n retiring early.
Thus, I need 2 learn how 2 sell.
I admit, inside my heart, is a desire to speak to e masses n influence them to do good things n feel great abt it. Inside my heart, i wana talk 2 alot of ppl n hav many friends n do many things. but there's this fear of selling myself, speaking up, failure, rejection. As long i can identify n admit this, I can correct it. I must prepare myself properly, tik of wat i wana say, then GO FOR IT.
Esp when it comes 2 women... nao hia... everytime ask em out always tell me they busy, or they got this, they got tat. sianz... dunno whether they lying or not... but like Robert T. Kiyosaki, he nv gave up. Ppl even told him it was lik beauty n e beast, how can he even tik abt goin after her??? But he kept trying, always got a "No". Finally, he got a "yes", n he nv looked back.
Perseverance is thus key.
Robert T. Kiyosaki took 2-3 years 2 learn salesman skills n overcome his fear of rejection n gain tat self-confidence jus b4 his probational period @ Xerox's sales department expired. But became no.1 n 2 consistently when he was one of e lowest.
He acknowledged his fears. He stood up to them. He made mistakes he had 2 make. but braved himself on.I wana b such a person in life.
I need 2 learn fast.
I need God's hand 2 help support this lonesome child.
I'LL SUCCEED!
