Famous Quote
If people are good
only because they fear punishment,
and hope for reward,
then we are a sorry lot indeed.

At some point in time when you least expect it, something simple cheers your day up. Though, not to be thick-skinned but honest, I get it pretty often.
As is the usual peak hour, the human tide rushes out. From one transport to another, like rats scurrying to safety from one flotsam to the next. I slither through the crowd skillfully, clenching onto my book tightly. A lady stares at my book from the time i was in view til i make my way to the mid-divider platform of the bendy. I read a few more lines. Curiosity strikes me. I turn up as if glancing around and passed my eyes across hers. True enough, she was already looking at me. But quickly looked away when there was eye contact. Doing this little game a few times right til i walked outta the bus that required me to move past her as she was standing that the door, confirmed my little theory.
Ergo, if they're interested to get your attention in a subtle way, she will be looking at some where else of a man that would actually make that man notice that she is looking at that somewhere. Whatever sexual connotations you might be getting from the previous sentence please refrain yourself, though it CAN be of the instinctual kind.
Plain simple, she stared at my book long enough for me to find it odd and therefore notice her doing it. Then, she continues giving stares that are not stares to me... how do you describe it? I have yet the vocabulary to. Stares sound offensive. Maybe I shall use the word, "look at longingly" from now on... bet you guys will get a kick at how it's being used. Soon, I found myself very uncomfortable. I'm sure you'd experience it too. I felt like... someone was "looking at me longingly" from gut feeling or the corner of my eye I couldn't tell. Thus as i've said earlier, I looked around the vicinity and found her "looking at me longingly". Her "looks at longingly" was such a thrill yet one would wonder, why didn't I reciprocate? Of course any normal person reading this would think. "But you did Gab! u did 'look back at her longingly.' " But I bet woman would be thinking , including the "looker at me longingly", why didn't I walk up to her and intro myself.
Firstly, the flirting games wouldn't be nice without the suspense and I gave her the ultimate suspense of the mental kind that only I can imagine (Or should I say only SHE can imagine). To live in woman's dreams would be so much sweeter.
Secondly, she looks 5 years older than me. A woman that age would want money, not a MAN. No i should use the word "boy." I think in a woman's dictionary, MONEY would mean MAN and vice versa.
Thirdly, which is tied to the previous one, I would have to be successful first right? Alas for two practical reasons of which the first one is a sad one that's already mentioned in the previous point. The 2nd practical reason is that, no $, how 2 support babies, home, car, 2nd wife, 2nd car, 2nd home.... =p kidding kidding.
Fourthly, (SIDETRACK, notice how it sounds like "folly?) (BACK2TRACK) I HUM JI CANNOT AH?
