WOW!~~ I'm flabbergasted @ my room.... i only jus finished doin my room now! (3am Sun)Jus lookin at it is enough motivation 2 maintain it... The things my bro introduced is nothing short of remarkable! Looks lik living on his own 2 fend 4 himself hav definitely benefited him. He looked at my messy shelf n immd knew i wanted a "minimalistic" concept but was either 2 lazy(e more accurate answer) or 2 "bo do"(wat e public would beg 2 agree wif) 2 do anythin after gettin those pine shelves frm the Lumber Yard in IKEA years ago. A return trip on Fri to IKEA wif my bro, was e beginning of a transformation! Not only cos it looks good, but maintainin it is goin 2 help me regain lost discipline i once had in abundance 4 a damn short time.
He also told me 2 b practical... We threw out lots of stuff. Including my xmas/bd cards, old love letters, etc. Stuff worthless but only sentimentally. I figured if i truly cherish ppl, keepin their gifts is not the best thing 2 do. Best is 2 b their fren. Plain simple. But 1 platonic relic tat was b4 cupid struck, is still there... Jus tat one blast frm e past i've hidden somewhere. Well... one can't b 2 realistic... I'm stil a die-harder romantic @ heart... (JEERS, TOMATOES SPLATT!)
being e peace maker is pretty hard... but i truly believe in my christian teaching when it comes 2 handling this "new yet old" prodigal son. Forgiveness. My sis n dad was truly testing my bro's patience. They really showed their dislike. My dad pretty much shut up n actually slept soundly(i can tell) when my bro cleaned up the ENTIRE house n threw out some useless things. He's tryin his best yet my sis isn't pleased cos she's still suspicious.
Wat i always liked abt my bro, is his intelligence. Besides learnin how 2 clean up e house n do up my room, i also learnt how 2 use forums when it comes 2 learnin new stuff. it makes perfect sense. Who cares abt online tutorials? jus post a question n wait 4 a reply! makes so much sense! (ok ok shut up... bet ure all goin,"Now then u noe ah?" jus let me bask in my own self-initiated glory =p) altho can tell he a bit computer nooby cos basic security stuff he doesn't noe. But he taught me abt plugins, StyleXP frm TGTSoft etc. Wat i liked abt e Win M Player Plugins is the lyrics one... Ultra cool... let it search 4 e lyrics... then choose whether u wana view it in WMP... awesome... I don't really noe how 2 but i roughly noe. Lucky i reinstalled Ad-Aware and SPyware Doc cos his Microsoft AntiSpyware BETA(he's an official evaluator) really had some loop holes! His Shareaza wasn't e prob i figured.
